Hi there, welcome to my website!

Let me introduce myself: my name is Catherene or Cat for short and I have many creative interests that have led to a varied career path traversing the fields of law, education and entrepreneurship. I started a food catering business and later, a boutique spanish wine importing business which involved a series of unforgettable trips all over Spain where I visited beautiful wineries, drank with winemakers and their families and fell in love with the people and culture. My father encouraged an early interest in photography, so I always travelled with a good camera. I shot weddings and events when the opportunity arose and particularly enjoyed portraiture. Ultimately, I pivoted towards culinary photography owing to time spent in the hospo industry and my deep love of food.

Aside from my work, I am a keen sourdough baker, cook and musician. I love to travel to eat.
